It's time for fall

It's finally feeling like fall in North Texas.  It is time for boots, sweaters, and taco soup.  I think I started decorating the first day of October. That also means that it is time for visiting the pumpkin patch. Ethan and I went with playgroup a couple of weeks ago.  It was the perfect day for it.  The kids were able to walk around and look at the very large pumpkins.  We found some familiar faces too.  And the moms did our best to capture some fun moments.

We spent a good 15 minutes talking to the Guppies.
We had a great time walking around checking everything out before having lunch.

And last week we made an attempt to take some pre-Halloween pictures of Ethan and Macy.  It did not go well.  Ethan wouldn't put his costume on and someone was upset at all times. Maybe once Halloween gets here next week we will have talked him into putting on the Sully costume that he asked me for.
At least they are both looking in the same direction

This was before I bribed him with fruit snacks

We have also been enjoying the cooler weather by getting outside as much as possible.  He is always so busy, moving from one place to another.  It definitely makes me appreciate those calm, quiet moments that are few and far between.
So much concentration

We are really enjoying our October.  We celebrated Robert's 30th birthday last weekend.  Of course I forgot to take pictures.  There is a lot more fun to come.
