Backyard fun

With just four more days of March it is finally starting to feel like spring weather. That could change at any moment. But, while it was nice this evening Ethan and I had some fun out in the backyard. We blew bubbles, played with our BFF, Hugsie, and chased Turk around the yard. He also mowed the yard at one point. I may have gotten a little carried away with the camera today.

He asked to have his picture taken with Hugsie. One day I will do a post of just adorable pictures of Ethan and Hugsie. He loves him!

Ready, Turk! 1,2,3 JUMP!

Getting him started early. He later helped pull some weeds.

Brady's 3D sonogram

Over the weekend we decided to go see what Mr. Brady is up to. We enjoyed having visitors come out to see him too. Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Mike, Gaga and Aunt Carissa and Macy came out to check out Brady's activity too. Once again, we weren't disappointed with our results. He was covering his face with his hand and foot in the beginning.  But the technician was able to move him around a little bit. Hopefully, he will turn within the next 10 weeks since he is breech at the moment, and I am feeling it.

And a comparison with big brother.

Ethan was a little interested in what was going on. Once we really pointed out what we were looking at he was more interested in the pictures of Mom's belly with Brady. He also found a friend and some cool accessories to buy, since Grandpa and Uncle Mike love him so.

Olie (with a long O) the elephant

Less than 10 weeks to go! Overall, the pregnancy is going pretty well. I am staying pretty steady on weight gain. My main craving is red meat, like a great hamburger. I am pretty tired due to some anemia but doing okay. Brady is very active. I feel kicks all day long, which is my favorite part of pregnancy. Time is flying and he will be here before we know it.

Ethan's first basketball game

The boy was so excited! I told him just before nap that we were going so he had to take a nap. Easiest.naptime.EVER!

So after a quick dinner at Chick-fil-a (also a good way to get him to eat), we made our way to the Texas Legends game.  After we found a dum dum we made our way to our seats.

They really know how to entertain kids at this place. They had a ride, a bounce house, and a place for the kids to play on trampolines and with basketballs. Unfortunately, it was suited for kids a little bit older. But, Dad was wiling to fight them off so Ethan could have a great time too.

Fun at the park

Warm weather + sleeping in late = a fun afternoon at the park and picnic. Ethan has been asking since last week to have a picnic. He even started sadly crying when it was too cold one day. Yesterday was his lucky day.

Excited about his picnic at the park.
Sitting in a "dog" house he found.
We don't go anywhere without the cars.

Playing the xylophone.
Tada!
Just after he said he wasn't tired.

Let's hope the warm weather stays around for awhile.

Waiting for spring

I am little behind on updating. So, while I listen to Robert and Ethan upstairs playing basketball and cooking, here are some of the things have been keeping us busy.

A couple of weeks ago, on a warmer day, we FINALLY got to go see the ducks.  He's been asking for weeks! He was so excited!

Robert and I celebrated our 5th anniversary in downtown. Ft. Worth.

Gaga and Aunt Carissa came to help paint Brady's nursery.

Robert and I attended a gala.

And just general silliness all the way around.
