Cloth Diapering

We have officially been using the cloth diapers for over 2 weeks now.  We decided a few months back that we would go cloth once we ran out of all of the diapers that were gifted to us (which was a lot).  We invested in 18 Fuzzibunz One Size Diapers, like the ones here.  I have found it to be easy so far.  I have even taken him on a few adventures out of the house in them, including the crazy crowd at Northpark Mall to check out H&M and Top Golf.  I have to launder them every other day. I know this seems like a lot, but I hardly notice it.  I also invested in a sprayer, made by bumGenius, that I attached to the toilet seat to help with the messy ones.  You can find that here.  However, I bought mine on Amazon for $35.  This has been a great investment so far.  It was even easy to install.  I actually did it myself in about 15 minutes.  I attempted to use my regular All Free Clear detergent and found that it causes repelling.  We just switched to Rockin' Green soap.  It is wonderful.  So we are only about 2 weeks in, but I am finding it to be easy and cozy for Ethan.  And the total savings over a 2-3 year time frame ($2000+ if you are wondering) is well worth a little extra work for me!  He may have a little more junk in the trunk, but it is super cute!

Mom, I think you need to change this!

Taking him out shopping has proven to be an issue.  He is so interested in what is going on around us.  Because of this, he doesn't want to sit in his carrier.  I am forced to carry him around the store so that he doesn't scream.  While I haven't tried the BABY BJORN out of the house yet, I hope to soon.  Maybe once we have consistent fall weather we can test it with a walk around the neighborhood.  Hopefully, Robert will be rockin' this at the Fair in a few weeks!!

Update on the sleep schedule - 8-10 hours a night!!! Woo to the Hoo!!
