Merry Christmas

Today was a great Christmas. We started the day with checking out Santa gifts, followed by opening the gifts and stocking from Mom and Dad.

Later, Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Mike came over for lunch and to spend the day. The boys had a great time. The weather was nice enough to go try out that new bike Santa brought.

We tried for a family photo with everyone there but they were either out of focus or the kids were hanging almost upside down and a one of us is trying to catch them. Maybe next time.

This is what I get when I need to test settings.

After a busy few days, the boys are finally both asleep and I am up way to late. We hope you had a Merry Christmas!!! I am sad and glad to see it go.

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a very busy day. We made our way to Red Oak to Aunt Carissa's house to spend a little time with them and Gaga and Paw Paw. We had a couple of cookies and opened lots of presents.

Of course the box is more fun.

After that, we went to the family party at Nana and Pop's house. It was a beautiful day and everyone got to enjoy spending some time outside.

When we got home, we got the kids in the tub and off to bed. But, not before leaving some cookies for Santa. Once the kids were in bed, Santa got to work. Once we were done, we sat back and relaxed with a movie, Love Actually, and a drink. Santa had to work hard this week to get his gifts ready.

Christmas Day coming up next!

Goodbye, Bing!

This week we said goodbye to Bing. But, not before we had a crazy, fun week with him!

Day 22: Baking with mom. We made gingerbread man cookies, decorated them, and took them to the neighbors.

Day 23: Hot chocolate and lights. This is the night that we went to Frisco Square and watched the dancing lights. We also decided to stop by Starbucks for some hot chocolate on the way home.

Day 24: Let's make some make our gift tags a for our presents.

Day 25: Bing thought it would be fun to make elves out of the kids pictures. Ethan thought this was great. He even left them for the boys on their stockings.

Day 26: Bing threw together his own Mecum car auction. This was definitely one of his favorites for the month.

Day 27: Bing put streamers on Ethan's door. Ethan was a little unsure of this one.

Day 28: This was Christmas Eve and the last day Bing was with us. He left a note saying that Santa gave him a special jacket that would protect his magic so that he could play and cuddle with him all day. He went to Aunt Carissa's with us.

He was very excited and immediately gave him a hug.

Then he drew a picture of him.

He put him in his cup holder so the he could see out this window. Totally his idea.

And this is where he put him for bath time.

We will definitely miss Bing this coming year. And we can't wait to see him again. However, Bing is a little tired a busy Christmas season and needs a little break! Until next year!! Who knows, maybe he will send us some messages throughout the year....
