He's Baaack!

Our favorite elf, Bing, is back for the Christmas season. Ethan has been so excited about his arrival. We have been watching the TBS special about the elf on the shelf daily. That has made him even more excited. It is Extravaganzalourious.

Day 1: The day after Thanksgiving, Bing arrived at our front door. Ethan was excited to get a package with his name on it. He was allowed to play with for 1 day since he gains his magic overnight.

With the Darth Vader ornament he wouldn't put down

He remembered a picture from last year that he decided to recreate while he was playing with him. He did a great job doing so with all of the Christmas friends we had just pulled out of the attic.

Day 2: The next morning we had our 2nd annual Northpole Breakfast that Bing prepared for us, complete with Christmas cups for each boy, snowman donuts and muffins that were apparently too big for them. Evidently, only the mini muffins work for either boy now. Ethan was so excited. He was very anxious waiting for Brady to wake up so we could all have breakfast together.

Day 3: On Sunday, Bing started out small by hanging around in Ethan's stocking.

Day 4: Give Back Mondays: We found Bing sitting upside down in a vase of snow. He also left a note to remind Ethan that this is the season of giving. So with directions from Bing, we went upstairs and picked a toy to give to goodwill along with the car full of stuff I already had in there and stopped at goodwill on the way back from the library.

Day 5: Bing got caught by Buzz and Reptillus Maximus' army. Within about 10 minutes Brady had pulled Bing off so we got to explain to Ethan that little ones are allowed to touch him since he doesn't know better, it's Santa's exception.

Oh the cuteness in the matching morning pjs
Day 6: Marshmallow fight with Raphael. He remembered this from last year too. But, he still said this was his favorite one so far.

Day 7: Reading to all of our stuffed friends. This one will be done every year because this is how Bing brings a new Christmas book. Brady loved his new Little Blue Truck Christmas book. He saw it when I brought him down. He ran to it when he saw it and came to sit on my lap to read it immediately. He loves the twinkle lights on the tree at the end too.

 Until next week's shenanigans.....
