Daily Challenge: 209-218

Unfortunately, summer is coming to an end here in a couple of weeks. My big guy starts Kinder soon. But, we are holding on to every ounce of summer that we can!!! I will be sad later, must focus on fun!

Day 209: Today we went to the mall just to play

Take a picture of me with the porch!
Now with thumbs

He actually yelled at me for taking his picture.

Day 210: Tonight we had a little Mommy and Brady date since Ethan was with Grandma and Grandpa and Dad was in NY. We stopped to watch the sunset by the lake. He was mesmerized.

Day 211: A little alone time before big brother gets home. So we sit IN the tracks.

Sweet face!

This is one is my favorite. I love his concentration.

Day 212: Today we played at Peter Piper's with our friends!

Day 213: Back to school shopping for this soon to be Kindergartener. Why oh why does he have to grow up!!!!

Day 214: Today is painting Day 1. So tonight we had dinner with mom in the living room, with no clothes on.

Day 215: Today was the first time you came downstairs in the middle of the night since we moved (except when Dad was out of town). Turk was keeping his boy safe.

Today is also the day the new washer and dryer were delivered. We had only gone about a week with no laundry done. Almost naked at this house. I had loads ready before they were delivered. Oh, and today is painting Day 2. We have been confined to the bedroom at this point. Too much tv has been watched.

Day 216: Painting Day 3. Today we realized that snacking in the bed causes crumbs, so we had to wash sheets.

This morning our plans with Lucas were cancelled because he woke up with pinkeye. So proud of this kid that wanted to do something nice to make his friend feel better. So we took him a card and a new car and left it on the porch.

We also realized that the painters painted part of the downstairs the wrong color and tried to deny. So fresh air was needed to keep mom from exploding. So to arbor hills we went for some hiking.
This was the end of our trip. Tell us how you really feel about that bug bite Ethan.

But early on we were in great moods, even in the 100 degree heat. Nothing beats a good walking stick.

Ethan did a great job taking this.

Day 217: This morning, the first thing Ethan asked to do was dig for dinosaur bones in our backyard. How can I say no to that?

Day 218: Ikea

Until next week.
