Easter, Rangers, and such

Our first Easter was a success.  Little man got not one, not two, but THREE Easter baskets!  He is a very loved little boy.  We started the day out at church.  Ethan made it about 25 minutes into it.  The best part is that he wasn't cranky.  He was channeling our favorite wookie, Chewie, to speak to the congregation.  While Robert and I found it hilarious, we thought it best for us to continue the conversation outside with the other kiddos.  The place was jammed packed.  There were tons of other families listening to the sermon from the audio outside.  After church we went back home for a long nap while we waited to hit up the buffet with the rest of the Flynn family for brunch.  While there, Ethan and Emma went to see the crazy cow with Grandpa Flynn.  They had an Easter bunny hopping around and a girl to paint faces and make balloon figures.  Unfortunately, I was too busy eating to capture any of these moments.  Bad mom.  The rain put a damper on the rest of the day so we headed home to get dry and enjoy some snuggles and playtime.

Also this weekend, we also enjoyed watching the Rangers beat the White Sox (sorry Robert) on Opening Day at Chris and Caitlyn's house.  It is always good to see the old gang.  It doesn't happen often enough.  Ethan was pretty excited about the win.  We love starting the season out taking opening series 2-1.  Robert was lucky enough to join Grandpa Flynn at the game on Saturday.  There he got to meet my favorite former player, Rusty Greer.  I am not at all jealous by this fact -- wait, I may have been a little bitter that night.  At least he got me a personalized autograph.  What a smart sweet husband.

Here a few other pictures from the last week or so.  Sorry for the quality in some.  The iphone can only do so much sometimes!
Check out our new interest in baseball  - and using the left hand.
Playing in the cupboard - makes cooking a lot easier for mom
Just another day of play
He eventually flipped all the way over.
Dad and Ethan love the post bath
And bath time, even though he has started standing up in the tub.

Not too sure about this grass.  This is when he started crab walking
Like father, like son
