June Fun

Somehow it is already mid-June. I am not sure how this happened. While June has been fairly quiet around here due to my limited abilities to leave the house, we have had a little bit of fun. Last week we gave Ethan an early birthday present so he could enjoy bike day at school. He loves his new TMNT trike. He's not super proficient at pedaling yet. He currently prefers to just use his feet to push it around, a la, Fred Flintstone. But, he loves it and that is all that matters. He has been almost everyday since he got it.

While baby brother was napping this week we also bust out the paint and monster trucks to make some birthday party decorations. He was happy to use his monster trucks and loved that he was helping out with the party.

Today, I decided to venture out on my first activity with both kids. With only one meltdown, I would say it was a successful day. We took advantage of the discount day at the Dallas Arboretum with some playgroup friends. It was great to get out of the house and have a little bit of fun. And it is always great to see friends I don't get to see very often. The children's area was pretty great. There are many places for the kid to learn and play.

Poor Joe had to put up with 3 women and 5 kids.

The poor baby had a pile of cars placed on him while we were taking a break.

Ethan was enjoying placing the cars on his brother and hiding under his cover with him.
