Disney or Bust!: Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom

Hollywood Studios

Day 3 we went to Hollywood Studios. This one is one of my favorite parks. I remember it being a favorite when I was a kid, then known as MGM Studios. Of course, we didn't get to ride the Tower or Terror and the Aerosmith roller coaster due to time and not wanting to ride alone.

Ethan really enjoyed this park from the time we walked in. The first thing he saw was a truck and he thought that was fantastic.

From there we made our way to see the Disney Jr. Show. On our way we stopped for a couple of pictures and for Brady to walk.

We got there a little early so we looked around for a bit at the souviner shop, all of the character sets, and we got to meet Jake and Doc McStuffins. Ethan got a little car that looks like Jake and showed it to him. He loved that Jake noticed it was him and rolled it on the wall.

Here, the boys are watching the show. It was a really cute show for anyone that has some Disney Jr. fans. Even Brady enjoyed it. He loved all of the signing and dancing. He even did a little dancing himself. I personally liked going to the shows since that's where the a/c is.
Watching the Show

After the Disney Jr. show worked our way over to the Muppets 3D show. It was Ethan's first 3D show and it was so cute to watch him trying to grab the objects coming at him. But, he really seemed to enjoy the muppets and has already asked if there is a show or movie that he watch.

At some point we came across Sully and Mike hanging out at the laugh factory.

After the Muppet show we just had to have lunch at Pizza Planet! Ethan loved that he got to eat here.

After lunch we went back to the hotel so Brady could take a nap. While Brady was taking a nap, Ethan and Robert went to play in the arcade at the hotel. Once he woke up we gave the kids a snack and we made our way back to the park.

Once there, we made it over to Star Tours to use our Fast Pass. We also used the rider swap on this one. This was in the top 2 favorite rides for Ethan. It changes each day which was his favorite. We have also watched the 1st (movie 4) since we have been home. While Ethan was riding, one of us was chasing Brady around the shop.

After Star Tours we went to visit McQueen and Mater while we were waiting on our Toy Story Mania fast pass timeframe. Then we just walked around to check everything out to kill some time.

The last stop of the day was Toy Story Mania and meeting Buzz and Woody together on Andy's bed. At least they had stuff to make the wait fun.

After all that fun we went back to the hotel for dinner. But one last picture at Ethan's request before we left.

Once back we had a little dinner at the hotel. Ethan guesses how many dinglehoppers were in a jar to get some free Mickey straws.

Animal Kingdom

By the time we made it to Animal Kingdom on Day 4 of parks, everyone was pretty tired. But, Ethan was still really excited. This was a much shorter day than the rest of them. We started early at the Kilaminjaro Safari Ride. We got to see a lot of animals up close and personal. I unfortunately didn't get many good photos since I had a little guy with me much of the time.

After the safari ride we went over to Rafiki's Planet to see Rafiki, another of Ethan's favorites.

After that we went to watch the Lion King show. Ethan enjoyed it but I don't think it was really what he was expecting. Brady and I really enjoyed it though. Brady was dancing to the music the entire show.

After the Lion King, Ethan decided he didn't really want to go to the Finding Nemo show. So we decided to have some lunch, check out the dinosaur area and head back to the hotel.

My delicious and completely calorie free macaroni and cheese hot dog.

As we were leaving I got just a couple more pictures.

The Tree of Life is so awesome!
