Happy Easter

Warning: I couldn't decide which pictures to post, so I posted them all!

Easter was so much fun this year.  We started the day with a fun Easter basket that the Easter bunny left for us filled with eggs, Chuck the Dump Truck, and new bulldozer, and an IOU for the book, Goodnight Construction Site.

After he dug into the basket we made our way to church just down the street.  It was our first time at this church.  They were very busy, as to be expected.  Ethan made it about 20 minutes or so before I had to take him outside.
After church we went over to Chris and Diana's house for a family lunch and an egg hunt.  Ethan was excited to see that the Easter bunny made a stop there for him too.  After lunch Uncle Chris hid all of the Easter eggs for Ethan and Emma to find.  After all of the eggs were hunted we used them for the traditional egg tick.  We were lucky to have enough eggs left in good condition for this.  Ethan really enjoyed throwing and cracking the eggs.  To be followed by peeling part of the egg and tasting it.  One bite is as far as it got for each.

I will be honest.  I am not positive who won the egg tick.  I think it was Chris.

Later we went for a walk by the pond.  The weather was beautiful so it was nice to get out and enjoy it.  We took some bubbles for Emma to play with.  I think Robert, Mike and Grandma got more use out of them.

Ethan was pretty tired when we got back.  So we decided to head home.  We barely made it to the freeway before he was asleep.

Thanks to Chris and Diana for hosting.  We had a great day!
